Internships

During my time as an undergraduate student, I have completed multiple internships that involved social justice work. The details of those internships can be found below.

Campaign Internship

During the Fall of 2020, I was a Campaign Intern at Quinn Nystrom for Congress, where I worked to try and elect Quinn Nystrom to the US House of Representatives. The campaign centered around affordable and accessible healthcare. My responsibilities included calling constituents and informing them about key issues and writing campaign materials such as letters to the editor.

Paralegal Internship

I am currently working as a Paralegal Intern at Standpoint, a Minnesota nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. I started interning for Standpoint during the Spring of 2020. I conduct legal research for Standpoint attorneys, write case briefs, draft legal documents, and attend court hearings.

Congressional Internship

I worked as a Congressional Intern at the office of US Senator Amy Klobuchar from the Fall of 2019 through the Spring of 2020. As an intern, I sent Congressional Inquiries to Federal Agencies, processed casework, drafted Letters of Due Consideration for immigrants seeking visas, and answered phone calls from constituents.
